We are pleased to inform you that IDAAN (Panama’s National Institute of Aqueducts and Sewage Systems) has begun construction of a new potable water treatment plant with a capacity of 750,000 gallons per day — a project with major impact for the entire region.
What does the project include?
This important investment, which exceeds 32 million dollars , includes:
A direct water intake.
A 200,000-gallon storage tank.
Two additional tanks of 60,000 gallons each.
Accordingly, on Friday, May 23, 2025, the IDAM installed the pipeline at the entrance of the Arcadia Beach property, including the connection clamp required for the potable water supply.
This is great news for our project and for all our client-owners, who will enjoy this real estate and tourism paradise on the Caribbean Sea.
A key support for development
This significant USD 32 million investment will benefit communities from Río Indio to Miguel de la Borda, where Arcadia Beach is located.
While Arcadia Beach will have its own potable water treatment plant, this decision by the National Government reinforces and guarantees the provision of this essential service, complementing our private system with public infrastructure support.
This represents a strategic step forward for the tourism and urban development of the area, positioning Arcadia Beach as the epicenter of a new era for Panama’s Caribbean coast.
Without a doubt, Arcadia Beach is bringing the best vibes to this paradise region.
